We had a normal day today-nothing out of the ordinary. So I thought I would write about PBS.
It is pretty much the same, with the same kids shows except for a few exceptions. When we first moved to Hawaii, I put on PBS cartoons for the boys while I made lunch, it was a Monday. I was busy in the kitchen and after awhile I started to hear the boys making unusual noises, but they always do wierd things so I didn't think much of it.
When I brought the boys their lunches, there was a tv program on that I had never seen on PBS before. "Learning to speak Chinese". They would act out funny skits in Chinese and then you repeat the words. It clicked that the unusual noises I heard was the boys repeating the chinese teacher on the tv. It was so funny and the boys seemed pretty confused.
Well it is Monday and the show was on again. Every Monday PBS Hawaii inserts "Learning to speak Chinese" instead of the regular PBS show. So today while I was making lunch I heard the boys counting in Chinese. I know they are not really learning Chinese but it is funny to hear them try to repeat the words.
Jacob is also getting his 2 year molars-they are part way through the gum. He walks around a lot with his mouth open showing us his "new teeth" and chewing on his fingers.
That's all folks!

that's so funny! I wish I could be there to hear that!
If they're teaching Mandarin Chinese, then I can help with pronunciation. It would sound
>kinda like this.
And, hey, Randy and Barbara-Jean's new child also speaks Mandarin! Small world, huh?
So not only will they be so much bigger when we see them again, but they'll be tanned and speaking Chinese. :o)
